Sara Powers, LCSW is a relational therapist with over 15 years of experience advocating for women and families who find themselves in vulnerable situations, suffering from various traumatic experiences. She focuses on creating a safe space for her clients to explore their feelings and beliefs.
Trauma does not occur in a vacuum. Sara advocates for partners, parents, and friends to be trauma informed and to have an opportunity to process their questions and feelings, and to receive support to learn how to be an ally to their loved one. In addition, Sara works with individuals struggling with depression and loneliness, working through life transitions, exploring sexual identity, family issues, and relationship conflicts.
Sara believes in the power of witnessing others around their darkest struggles, brightest successes, and every experience in between.
