Community Workshops

In a supportive group format, these workshops offer education, concrete tools, and opportunity for connection.

For nearly four decades, Womencare Counseling and Training Center has been a leader in the field of the treatment of PTSD and traumatic stress, providing programs to resource, empower and promote resilience in the communities we serve.

Womencare also provides workshops aimed at supporting holistic health and well-being of individuals, parents, and teens.  Participants gain information and expand their skills sets, while sharing together their concerns and struggles with self-care, PTSD, anxieties, parenting,  and relationships.

These workshops are for personal growth, are open to all, and do not earn professional CEUs.  Therapists are welcome if they will be addressing their own issues.

“Thanks for creating such an incredible experience today. It was safe, real and effective. I liked that we walked away with direction and tools for coping. It was an honor to learn with and from each other, as well as from you. I had a shared experience that touched my soul and created a new image of who we are collectively and individually. Thank you.”
