I became a social worker because I wanted to help foster a more just world. I utilize myself and my empathy to witness the devastating impacts of abuse, neglect, and systemic oppression. I believe that therapy can help to break the silence that often is a consequence of institutional, community, and interpersonal traumas.
Through my work, I have learned that life difficulties do not occur in a vacuum; partners, parents, and significant others struggle along side trauma survivors. I am invested in providing support and information to anyone who cares about and is committed to the healing of trauma survivors.
