Be Part of our Next Chapter: News from Womencare

Dear Friends, Allies, and Colleagues,

Our community has thrived due to its members’ passion, dedication, and shared purpose. As we look forward, we are embracing an exciting new direction that reflects our evolving values and the impact we aim to create together.

Womencare has been reflecting on what truly matters: our values, inspirations, and whether our actions align with them. We’ve acknowledged mistakes, grieved losses, and rediscovered our collective dreams.

We seek individuals who share our vision to inquire about joining our practice collective. We invite therapists eager to shape Womencare’s next chapter to connect with us.

If you believe in collaboration, fresh perspectives, and making a meaningful difference, this is the perfect time to get involved.

To better align with our values, Womencare is restructuring its operations.

  • Starting July 1, 2025, Womencare will transition to a shared-cost model where clinicians retain 100% of their clinical revenue while contributing to the monthly and annual operational expenses. This shift allows us to build an economically viable (sustainable) group practice model that honors clinicians’ ethics, prioritizes client care, and allows practitioners greater autonomy and collaboration.
  • As clinicians, we will continue to practice within a relational feminist model, reflecting our work with clients and our commitment to navigating our relationships with each other. (see our statement on Womencare’s mission
  • Our Advanced Trauma Consultation Groups are continuing.
  • We are reworking our programs, moving away from white-centered practices while centering the voices, stories, and wisdom of those who are marginalized and oppressed.
  • We will foster mutual well-being by sharing resources, weekly group clinical consultations, and making collaborative decisions.

This is more than an invitation—it is a chance to build something special together. Community is at the heart of our mission, and we invite you to join us in this new endeavor.
