Womencare Counseling & Training Center is growing, and we are looking for clinicians who are passionate about the work they do and the people they serve.  The ideal candidate has extensive experience in treating trauma, offers diversity to our staff, values communication, integrity and authenticity, and can work both independently and collaboratively within the group.  We encourage applicants who have or have an interest in developing a specialized clinical focus.

While Womencare is a private practice and not an agency, all therapists participate in the community of Womencare by attending staff meetings and group supervision, participating on committees, collaborating on cases, and also have the opportunity to consult and mentor.  We believe in a relational approach, both in our work with clients and in our collegial relationships with one another.

INTAKE COORDINATOR POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

We are currently seeking a part-time (approximately 10 – 12 hours per week) Intake Coordinator.

Under limited supervision, the Intake Coordinator is often the first impression potential new clients will experience at Womencare Counseling and Training Center. The Intake Coordinator will respond to initial inquiries about Womencare services, conduct intake assessments, prepare written intake summaries, assign cases to clinicians, create monthly summary reports of intake calls, update referral lists and assist with other administrative tasks as appropriate. A more detailed description can be found below:

  •  Completing all admissions paperwork and entering it digitally
  • Answering phone and email inquiries
  • Conducting intake assessments via phone
  • Ability to address initial patient complaints or concerns
  • Complying with the regulations and policies of Womencare 
  • Verifying medical insurance coverage and benefits for each patient (if applicable)
  • Scheduling appointments for consultations
  • Answering phone and email inquiries
  • Performing clerical work, such as filing, copying and faxing

 This position is currently remote, but there will be dedicated space in our office should the intake coordinator want to be in person.  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Masters Degree in a mental health field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong relational/rapport-building skills and an understanding of a relational approach to psychotherapy
  • Strong assessment skills 
  • Intermediate skills in working with Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong affinity for customer service
  • Excellent time-management skills

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Hourly wage is $25/hour 
  • 2 weeks paid vacation
  • Flexible work hours
  • May attend Womencare professional workshops for free (exceptions may be co-sponsored trainings).
