Wendy Ortiz (she/ her/ ella/ la), MSW, LSW

Wendy is a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Latinx, queer relational cultural therapist and empowering clients is at the heart of her work. Feeling stuck, tired, burnt out? She hears you; We are experiencing a shift in the way we live and a change in our sense of safety. Whatever you are going through right now, Wendy cares and looks forward to offering support throughout the therapeutic process.

Her focus is centered around working with people from diverse backgrounds that may face obstacles including PTSD, intimate partner violence, sexual harm, trauma, generational trauma, spiritual abuse, navigating gender and sexuality identity, immigration trauma, anxiety, depression and grief felt when navigating chronic medical health conditions.

The theoretical lenses that she uses to support clients include trauma informed approach, relational cultural approach, harm reduction, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, culturally affirming care, cognitive therapy, anti-oppressive lenses, client centered approach, EMDR and other modalities tailored to your needs.
